BangBros - Why try anything else?

As a porn enthusiast who has closely studied the history and evolution of the modern porn industry, from magazines and videocassettes to TGP’s and WMV’s, I have seen it all. With all of this knowledge in mind it remains quite difficult for me to find a more relevant example of a website that is responsible for delivering us all into a new age of online porn then that of a site named Bang Bros.  It all began in South Florida back in 2001 when a small infantile reality based porn site dubbed “Bang Bus” was first introduced to the World Wide Web. With Bang Bus it was all so primitive and unpolished, yet brilliant in its simplicity. What you had were unsuspecting “real life” women, being persuaded to enter a dirty van (aka “bus”) in order to be fucked on tape, by numerous “real life” everyday nerds. Much has changed since those glory days and what was once a small little website has grown into a major network comprised of 30 sites, each filled with a unique genre from foot fetish and monster cocks all the way through to MILF and creampies. Bangbros has earned the reputation of being pioneer’s in the industry to become true players in the adult website marketplace and earn the self ordained title- “World Motherfucking Famous”. Today, it is with great pleasure that I will be reviewing this network for the Porn Tips community and my hope is that after reading this review you will be armed with enough information to make a decision of whether or not to join Bangbros. I will be reviewing the network as a whole and not just by any individual site, as this will produce a more accurate marker for value in relation to content.  As your porn veteran and messenger of good faith, it is my pleasure to submit this review for your consideration.

The Site

There are many pillars of success for which Bangbros can hang their hats. Some of these achievements and attributes since their inception in 2001 including having over 30 million monthly users, winning the 2010 AVN site of the year, compiling over 6000 exclusive videos, providing 30 sites, boasting over 2,000 plus models, providing HD content, posting 3 updates daily, and presenting free live webcam shows daily. Each tab is pretty self explanatory so I will not get too far into it, but I do want to touch on the webcam feature. The webcam tab will bring you to live webcams brought to you by Naked. This section requires members to register and create a separate account to begin using the live girls. This is a feature that seems to be picking up in popularity as members pay for credits that are used on a pay per minute basis to have models perform a live 1 on 1 show. The specials tab is just what it seems as it offers discounts to many other popular paysites for Bangbros members. The search feature is very functional and effective at helping you zero in on exactly what you are looking for in a scene. On a side note, I found one very unique category in the search feature which is “Pussy Type” and they are labeled as “Hybrid”, “Innie” and “Outie”. So if you join the site check out some “hybrid” pussy; it’s good for the environment I suppose.

The Content

Ok so lets get down to the brass tax, what really matters the most to you at the end of the day; the scenes themselves. Each scene comes with the following features: photos (hi-res photo gallery and/or a screen cap gallery), play full scene (streaming video), download movie (big parts and 1 min clips) and trailer (preview). With respect to the videos, typically each full-length scene runs approximately 25-30 minutes. The videos are essentially the centerpiece or each update and where you find the most “meat” in terms of material. Members have the option to download each scene in large portions or stream them via in-browser Flash player and WMV stream available in 960 x 578 , 720 x 406. The downloads are only available in WMV and MPEG, which I find to be a disappointment however I believe that more options may become available in the near future. Time does play a factor when it comes to the video quality of the downloads, as older updates generally play in 320 x 240, so the quality is compromised a bit. It is still remarkable that these videos remain in the library for download despite their age, and the quality could be worse considering that some of these videos date back to 2001. As for the newer material I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5.  Though the newer videos are presented in what Bangbros calls “HD quality” they are not available in HD for downloads just streaming, which is a let down to me. The directing and filming itself is pretty impressive as the themes are always creative and presented in a reality type setting. I should mention that even though they advertise many of their sites as being reality based, you will find that the scenes are far from it, as you will find more pornstars in each scene than amateurs and the productions are clearly a cut above other reality sites. The photos are offered in one size only which is 600 x 800(for new updates), averaging roughly 100 photos per gallery and the quality can be considered good at best. If I had to make one criticism in this area it would actually be more of a recommendation to offer a slideshow option for the photos.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this is a very good network and only seems to be getting better with time. I will not exhaust you with more details as you pretty much have had everything laid out for you. I will simply say that if you have many fetishes and you enjoy massive amounts of content, you will not be disappointed here at Bangbros.
